Susanne Klaußner MRICS has been working in the real estate industry for 39 years and has been dedicated to the local supply segment since 2006. Before joining DIR Deutsche Investment Retail GmbH, she was Chairwoman of the Management Board (CEO) of GRR AG and the Management Board of GRR Real Estate Management GmbH until March 2019. In the GRR Group, she was responsible for strategy, real estate management, human resources and organization. Together with her team, she initiated three local supply funds and an own portfolio of around EUR 1.5 billion AuM (400 properties). Susanne Klaußner is regarded as one of Germany's leading experts on retail real estate. Previously, she held positions at Sireo Real Estate GmbH, where she initially headed the Nuremberg branch and, from 2004, the property management department for the Sireo funds.

In June 2015, she was named Manager of the Year in the Real Estate Industry at the Real Estate Women Summit. She is a member of the advisory board of the German Council of Shopping Places and a lecturer at the IREBS Real Estate Academy.
